Black Vegans of Toronto Brandon Street Farm

About Our Farm

Starting in spring 2019, Black Vegans of Toronto will be joining with Brandon Street Community Development Foundation to cultivate several acres of their 100% BLACK OWNED farmland in Alliston, Ontario (an hour and fifteen minutes north of Toronto). We plan to grow the cleanest most nutritious food for ourselves and the black community in Toronto and surrounding areas. Our goal is to encourage healthy eating in the black community by providing the best quality fresh greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables at very affordable prices.

We are not funded by any government agency nor do we receive any corporate donations. Our farm is being developed and expanded with our own funds and resources, plus Harvest Share subscriptions, and the purposeful support and donations from our community. Our Farm is located at 6226 Concession Road 2, Alliston,Ontario, L0H IJO.

Get Your Share

When you become a member of TBCSA, you are purchasing a “share” of organically grown fresh herbs, vegetables, and fruits from Black Vegans of Toronto Brandon Street Farm. Weekly or bi-weekly, you can pick-up your share of produce at a convenient location in your neighborhood.

Nature's Way

While you enjoy your weekly share of the fresh, local, farm-fresh food, you must also share in the lack of food should there be a drought, flood, pest problem or other issues that reduce the amount or quality of the food. You become one with the farmer in understanding and dealing with the ways of nature.
