What is TBCSA?

Black Vegans of Toronto is a support group for Black Canadians who are vegetarian, vegan, or raw foodies and those who are interested in transitioning to a plant-based vegan lifestyle.  We support each other and, lovingly and respectfully, encourage our families, friends, and all Black Canadians to adopt this very healthful, disease preventing lifestyle.

Toronto Black Community Supported Agriculture (TBCSA) was created so that we could go one step further in knowing where our food comes from and to ensure the quality and the cleanliness of what we eat.

This is a Harvest Share Plan where you pay a one-time fee (or share) prior to the start of the growing season. This fee is determined by seed cost, equipment maintenance, property fees, tools, salaries, distribution costs, etc. In return, you receive weekly or bi-weekly shares of what is harvested either by delivery or at a pick-up location near you. We also provide fresh food weekly to local restaurants and caterers.

All the food supplied in this Plan will be grown under the best organic conditions at our Black Vegans of Toronto Brandon Street Farm in Alliston, Ontario.
